Congrats! Cheers to you and yours! Well-deserved.
Congratulations!
That is completely awesome! Way to go.
And as an aside, being completely against reading nonfiction as I am, I am now reading The Mommy Wars - it's some sort of domino effect I blame on Becky.
I think it's because I feel compelled to read books written by people I've actually had interaction with.....
I polished off Mommy Guilt last week.
Quit writing books people. I want to get back to fiction. (Just kidding).
Way to go you guys!
Congrats you two!
ps - Becky made me read nonfiction too. She is a powerful influence.
Gidge,
Aviva and I are going to write another book. And you are going to read it or we will sic Becky on ya!
Thank you for the congrats everyone. We are so happy to get this nomination. Particularly since Aviva and I have gone without any direct support from our publisher. So to us, this makes it doubly exciting since we have worked so damn hard to get the word out about our book! Even if we don't win this award, it the honor of being nominated represents all of the dogged hard work of friends, family, and our faithful readers have done on behalf of this book! Additionally the the support we have received from Barnes & Noble and the Independent Booksellers has been incredible. So while appreciate the congratulations, we also know we turn around and say to all of you "Thank you and congratulations to you too!" We love ya!
