Are you there (Senator) Dodd? It's me, Devra- Caption Contest- Delurk and Enter before time runs out!
Recently I was reunited with Senator Dodd and the moment was captured by Dodd's official photographer.
Write a caption for the photo and win a "Take Control Of Your Life T-Shirt" and a bottle of Mommy's Time Out Wine. Read a review of the wine over at The Whinery.
Winner will be announced on October 9th!
2nd Note: Thank you to Kate at Temporary Sanity who emailed me and let me know there was a problem and Blogger wasn't cooperating when she tried to leave a comment. If anyone else had this problem, the issue has been resolved. Not sure what was going on, but it should be fixed now! Thank you again for watching our collective back Kate!

I swear, Devra, I will STOP going to Iraq.
Wait, there was a ladder right there and you couldn't figure out how to be the same height as the Senator? Really?
Sen. Dodd: Funny, I thought you would look more like a tree in person.
Devra: Huh. I thought you would look less like one.
Maybe I should share with everyone that if you visit Goon Squad Sarah's site and look at her BlogLog widget for some reason neither of us can figure out, my picture is a tree. This does NOT happen on anyone else's Bloglog widget. Only Sarah's. So hence the tree comment she submitted.
It's even funnier that I am a tree on her site given that I am so not like a tree in real life, as Sarah's comment and the picture illustrate!
"How's the weather up there?"
(Trying again..)
Senator's Inner Monologue: I will not stare at her tits. I will not start at her tits. Oh god, words on her shirt. I will not stare at her tits.
Devra: Did you ever learn how to read? How long are you going to stare at the words on my shirt?
Devra (thinking to herself) "Ya know, if I tilt my head and squint my eyes just right, he kinda looks like Captain Kangaroo. .... Gawd, I miss watching public television."
TOP PORTUGUESE UNIVERSAL WRITER: CRISTOVAO DE AGUIAR.
He has, also, translated into Portuguese the Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith.
He has been awarded several prizes.
Don't forget the name of this great author, you'll be hearing of him soon.
Thank you for spending time in Universal Culture.
Thanks for visiting.
I don't know Devra. I think Kate just might be the winner. I stopped by and commented, though. Does that count?
It is very important that our heads be tilted in opposite directions before we go in for the kiss.
